Tape-Row Move-Up FAQ
How is a tape-row move-up different from a tape-in move-up?
The steps are the same removal, inspection, and repositioning process. Tape-row simply refers to a full or larger set of rows rather than a smaller partial section.
Can I switch from tape rows to a different method at a move-up visit?
That conversation happens at your appointment. Sandy can talk through whether a different method fits your hair and goals better before your next full install.
Will my hair be shorter after each move-up?
No cutting is required to reposition tape rows. Any length change would only come from a separate haircut you choose to add on.
What if some of my rows are fine and others have slipped?
Sandy addresses each row individually rather than treating the whole head the same way, so rows still holding well are left alone while loose ones are reset.
Does hair grow slower or faster with tape rows in?
Tape rows do not affect your natural growth rate. The rows simply need to move up the shaft as that growth happens underneath them.
Can I get my hair wet right after a move-up?
Sandy will walk you through the aftercare timeline before you leave, since the fresh tape bond needs a short window to fully set before regular washing resumes.
